Container
Nominal, not exact
Container internal dimensions vary a little by builder and age, and pallet standards have tolerances. Treat these as planning figures: good enough to size a load or check a rack, but confirm against the actual unit before you cut anything to fit.
Volume you can use is less than this
The cube shown is the geometric internal volume. Real loadability is lower — cartons don’t tessellate perfectly and you lose height to pallets and dunnage. For how many containers a shipment actually needs, run the Container Load tool, which discounts to usable volume.
Dimensions are nominal internal figures. Payload is the maximum cargo weight; max gross is payload plus the container’s own tare.
