Landed Cost Calculator

The all-in cost to land imported goods at your door — goods, freight, insurance, duty, and fees in one number. Enter the duty if you have it, or let the tool work it out from a tariff rate. Add a quantity and you get the per-unit cost basis to price and margin against.

What landed cost is

Landed cost is the true cost of an import — every dollar it takes to get the goods from the supplier to your door. The invoice price is only the start; add freight, insurance, duty, and broker or handling fees and the real basis for pricing and margin is often 15–40% higher than the goods alone.

Landed cost = goods + freight + insurance + duty + fees

Why per-unit matters

A total is useful; a per-unit landed cost is what you price against. Divide the landed cost by the units in the shipment and you have the cost basis for each piece — the number that decides whether a sale price actually makes money once the border is paid.

Enter duty, or let the tool find it

Already ran the Import Duty tool? Enter the figure. Or switch to Calculate duty, give a tariff rate and a valuation basis, and this tool works the customs value and duty out for you before rolling it into the landed cost — the whole chain in one place.

A planning estimate. Final duty, valuation, and fees are set by your broker and the destination customs authority.
