Incoterm Cost Split
Put real numbers behind the term. Enter your shipment’s cost line items, pick an Incoterms 2020 rule, and see exactly which costs the seller absorbs into the price and which the buyer pays on top — line by line, with the totals.

Seller carries
Line by line
Seller S Buyer B — the party each cost falls to under this rule. The seller builds its share into the selling price.
The term decides who pays
Every Incoterm assigns each leg of the journey to the seller or the buyer. The seller folds its costs into the price; the buyer pays the rest on top. Two quotes on different terms aren’t comparable until you push both to the same point — which is exactly what this split lets you do.
Why it matters for a quote
An EXW price looks cheap because the buyer is paying for almost everything separately; a DDP price looks expensive because the seller has bundled the whole chain, duty included. Split the line items and the two land on the same footing — the real cost to get the goods to your door.
A planning estimate based on the standard Incoterms® 2020 allocation. Your contract can shift specific charges; adjust the line items to match.
